Crafty April: Cheesecloth Potpourri Sachets
Here are some homemade sachets that I hand-sewed this weekend using cheesecloth, colored embroidery floss, and embellishments like buttons, beads, and fabric flowers.
I folded a long strip of cheesecloth to make the sachet shapes, and embellished the front of each using a needle and thread.
Next, I folded any rough edges over to make a smooth seam all the way around the sachet.
Then, I used the embroidery floss to sew all around each sachet. As I sewed them up, I filled each one with apple-scented potpourri.

So pretty!!!
thanks! I had fun making these… have you ever made scented inserts for pillows? I was thinking about patterns to make a removable scented sachet…
