Pilgrim Hat Button Ornament
I just couldn’t help myself, I had to make this little pilgrim hat from some leftover buttons!
It doesn't stand all that straight in this photo, but it hangs on the tree just fine!
I used a black pipe cleaner (maybe I should have used wire), black buttons in various sizes and thicknesses, a yellow button (for the brim, other colors would work too), and a leaf on floral wire that I cut down from a larger artificial leaf for an accent.
I made the “buckle” by drawing on the yellow button with a black permanent marker.
A little bit of jewelry wire helped to secure it to my tree.
